Bluffs Neighbourhood Development Plan
Submitted to Westbank First Nation for WB Bluffs Development
Tsinstikeptum IR#10, British Columbia, Canada
with JIM (CAN), Aplin + Martin (CAN), and several local consultants
2024 (on-going)
The Bluffs Plan is a comprehensive land use planning document to help direct future land development by amplifying the local environment, enhancing mobility, sharing cultures, and cultivating community. The plan guides future urban design through rezoning, subdivision, and permit processes to bolster housing, economy, and quality of life for the Westbank First Nation (WFN) and local community.
Emphasizing and aligning with WFN values, the team prepared a preliminary design framework based on thorough analysis engaged with Okanagan ecology, history, traditions, planning policies, and development goals.
An exciting community engagement process is anticipated for 2024-2025 to inform further project development.
